Practical, efficient and lightweight

Wonderful light for back-up at home, tent and in camper shell. Battery lasts longer than anticipated.

Love it.

Very useful for anything from camping to power outages at home. Lasts long and rechargeable so very easy to use and charge and up.
Different colors of light and brightness and you can also dim it down to what you want
Full brightness is quite bright so sometimes I dim it down so it’s not blinding me but I’m happy with it.

Brilliant light!

Alright, so I was checking out these two camping lanterns, the Khonsu LED and the Goal Zero Lighthouse 600. Honestly, both seemed pretty decent at first glance.

But after digging a bit, the Khonsu really caught my eye. First off, this thing is BRIGHT. Like, seriously bright – they say 1500 lumens, which is way more than the Goal Zero's 600. I don't use a lot of bright light in solo camping , and don't want something too bright in my eyes when I'm cooking. Hanging Khonsu from a tree works great for that,When I read, I usually turn down the brightness. that extra oomph seems super handy.

Then there's the battery. The Khonsu has this huge 10000mAh battery. It's twice as much to the Goal Zero. I've used it three nights in a row and still have power left, and get this – it can charge my phone! That's a big plus when you're out in the middle of nowhere.

They both have different light settings, which is cool, but the Khonsu also has a flashing emergency light. Hopefully, I won't need it, but it's good to know it's there.

For Goal Zero Lighthouse 600,the hand crank is good, but it usually doesn't work, realistically, you will not bother with hand cranking power for a light. it's too much work.

The point is!!! The orange light doesn't attract mosquitoes, and if you camp alone a lot, you know what I mean.

nice lantern,I'll bring it on next camping trip.

Even though we don’t camp, I’m keeping this light in our vehicle for emergencies, and I’ve also used it as a trouble light when working on our cars.
The light has 3 different color temperatures and stepless brightness levels. When I compare it to other portable lights I have, the brightness claim of 1,500 lumens seems pretty high—almost double what it actually is.

While I’m working under our vehicles, my other portable lights are brighter, but the light from this one is good enough.
I wish the casing was made of a rubberized material. All my other portable lights have that, and they’ve held up well. I wouldn’t want to drop this light on a hard surface.
The magnets are okay. They hold the light pretty well on metal surfaces, but they struggle to keep it in place if the surface is vertical.
A small carabiner is included for hanging the light, but it feels like an afterthought. The carabiner barely fits onto the handle, making it hard to get it into a hanging position—it’s too tight.

It takes several hours to recharge the light when plugged into a phone charger (not included).
The orange emergency lights work well, This color hardly attracts bugs.
The light also comes in a nice semi-rigid zippered case for storage.
Overall, this is a pretty decent emergency light to keep in our vehicle, and I’m sure it would come in handy for camping too.

Great light!!

Great light to have when you need one during a power outage or in a dark room. We've been remodeling our home, and several rooms have been without electricity. I kept one of these in a bathroom at night, and it worked great. It would definitely be awesome for camping too. I'm a big fan of solo camping, and I'm planning to take this with me on my next trip. I tried it out in the backyard, and after switching to the orange light, it barely attracted any mosquitoes. The only downside is that the 10,000mAh might not be enough for me.
